Recently, “National Torch Qingdao Graphene and Advanced Carbon Material Characteristic Industrial Base” was approved. Qingdao will build China’s first international graphene innovation center and the only national graphene industry innovation demonstration base in the north, marking the graphene industry. Further speed up.

It is understood that the Qingdao Municipal Government has also set up a domestic first graphene angel investment fund of 100 million yuan, and at the same time, set up Qingdao International Graphene Trading Center. At present, Qingdao has attracted nearly 30 graphene projects. It is estimated that by 2023, the value of Qingdao graphene and advanced carbon materials will exceed 30 billion yuan.

Graphene is currently the thinnest and hardest nano material, and has many properties that are not possessed by many common materials such as good light transmittance, high thermal conductivity, high electron mobility, low electrical resistivity, and high mechanical strength. The known application value of graphene is mainly reflected in five fields: energy storage technology, flexible display, high precision sensor, fast thermal conduction conductive technology and barrier infiltration technology.

However, the graphene industry is currently in the early stage of the industrial cycle, and the enterprises, technologies and products in the industry are still in the development stage. Graphene industrialization is gestating and growing for a long time. Before industrialization, huge investment is required. SMEs face large losses of pressure for a long period of time. This factor restricts the development of graphene industry. Li Jijun, deputy director of technology development and planning for new carbon materials, said that in the future, graphene products will be the first to launch products in five areas: energy technology, optoelectronic materials, composite materials, electronic devices, biomedicine and sensors. The company will actively deploy in these five areas.
